Located in the heart of Victoria's beautiful Mornington Peninsula wine region, the home property has 10 acres (4.2 ha.) of vines planted with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Shiraz and Pinot Gris. The current winery was built in 1998, and houses an outstanding a la carte restaurant on the upper level. In 2014 Paringa Estate managed 55 acres (22 ha.) of vineyard and in an average season the winery processes around 200 tonnes of fruit or 15,000 cases.

History of Paringa Estate

Lindsay McCall began his incredible wine journey in 1984 with the purchase of a derelict orchard in Paringa Road. Lindsays passion and fascination in wine began in the mid 1970s and by the mid 1980s he decided to follow his dream by establishing Paringa Estate.

In the first ten years progress was slow while Lindsay remained a fulltime school teacher. The first vines were planted in 1985 and by 1990 the home vineyard 10 acres (2.5 ha.) was fully planted. Lindsay became full-time in his business in 1996 allowing him to devote all his time and energy to growing his fruit and making great wine.

Paringa Estates first vintage was in 1988 with a mere 3 tonnes of fruit. By vintage 2000 production had grown to 78 tonnes of fruit, and by 2008 production had grown to 220 tonnes (16,000 cases). Paringa Estate has a strong presence in the Australian market and exports to the UK, Denmark, Poland, Ukraine, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, China and Taiwan.

The incredible list of awards that Paringa Estate has collected with their wines particularly over the past 10 years are testament to the quality of the wines and the passion of the people who have made them.

Mornington Railway is a heritage railway operating in the Mornington Peninsula between Moorooduc and Mornington.Step back in time to a bygone era and take a ride on a heritage train. They have both Steam and Diesel heritage broad gauge locomotives and vintage passenger cars. Running days are normally the first three Sundays of each month.

The Arthurs Seat Eagle is the Mornington Peninsula’s newest attraction. Opening early December 2016, you can jump aboard a state of the art gondola and enjoy the Peninsula as never before.

The all weather Eagle carries passengers between the Base Station in Dromana to the summit of Arthurs Seat, passing high over the beautiful State Park. Passengers can board at either station.

A combination of enclosed and open cabins provide an all weather experience for passengers. The Eagle is all inclusive and caters to the disabled, elderly, frail and toddlers. It is wheelchair and pram friendly.
